Mother Athena School was established at Badaun under the aegis of Athena Education Society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Badaun was consciously chosen to bring the standards of education in the city at par with the best anywhere in the world, and, thereby, catalyze the general upliftment of the town.
'Athena' symbolizes wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, justice and skill. /in consonance with its name, the school attemps to provide a place of learning with fun and innovation, the environment for multidimensional development of personality, and a centre of nurturing child to blossom into impeccable 'Citizen' of world; It is an effort for unbridled, independent, self-confident growth without burdening the tender child with the stuff that appears, at best, boring to him/her. It envisions providing an atmosphere where the language, Science or Mathematics come naturally to the child without their being thrust upon him/her. At the same time, the attempt would be to prepare the child to come out on top in every sphere.
The deep rooted belief of the School is that the sky is the limit in any walk of life. Every human being has tremendous stores of energy and is capable of surpassing any frontier. He or She is born to win in this world through inculcating absolute human values, and by dint of perseverance and determination, the School makes conscious efforts to ingrains this philisophy in each student.
