Founded by Kalyan Seva Sansthan, NIHER was established with a vision to address the acute shortage of skilled healthcare professionals in Bihar. In the early 1990s, the state's healthcare system struggled due to poverty, illiteracy, poor hygiene, and most importantly, the lack of trained health workers. With limited options for Allied Health and Paramedical education, NIHER took the initiative to bridge this gap. Today, we are proud to be a leading institution nurturing qualified professionals in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Lab Technology, Radiography, and more — contributing to the health and well-being of Bihar.
