The foundation of this college was laid on October 30, 1996, as a Girls’ High School, inaugurated by the then Commissioner of the Allahabad Division, Shri Deshdeepak Verma, I.A.S. It was the result of his inspiration and initiative. Within just two years, the institution, which began as a Girls' High School, evolved into a prestigious intermediate college in the town, offering courses in both Humanities and Science streams. In response to the growing demands and aspirations of the local community, in 2005, His Excellency the Governor granted permission for teaching seven subjects—Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Ancient History, Sociology, Education, and Political Science. The college received affiliation for the B.A. program from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. In July 2009, the National Council for Teacher Education, North Central Region, Jaipur, approved the B.Ed. course. In 2011, the university granted permission to introduce three additional subjects: Geography, Vocal Music, and Home Science. Later, in 2013, two more subjects—Urdu and Physical Education—were approved for instruction by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. From July 1, 2013, the college was granted affiliation for postgraduate courses in Sociology and Education. On May 30, 2019, postgraduate programs in Hindi, Geography, Home Science, Ancient History, and Urdu also received university affiliation. At present, this college is affiliated with Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj. The rapid growth of the institution—from a school to a postgraduate college in such a short span—was not accidental. It was the outcome of firm determination and the visionary thinking of Dr. Ramshakal Pandey, former Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Allahabad, and Dr. S.P. Tripathi, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. "Saket" is not just a name—it is a movement. The term "Saket" signifies:
